What happens in the -stan countries?
Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Afghanistan are somewhat known, but it's like the other 4 don't even exist. You never hear a positive or negative thing from those countries.
What the fuck happens in Kyrgyzistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan?

the reason we don't know anything about them is because they're (relatively) brand new countries that are too poor to make a drop in the world economy, and that combined with dictatorial regimes keeps their sphere of influence regional at best
>>73613162
They're basically dictatorships.
Also Kazakhstan likes to pretend it's western.

Kyrgyzstan is a bit like Kazakhstan but it is smaller so it's less relevant. Turkmenistan is under dictatorship so news barely escape from here. Uzbekistan is quite relevant in sport events.
