How influential is religion in your country?
Israel is basically the Vatican on a nuclear state scale - everything here has to do with religion, and to paraphrase, while in Rome all the roads led to the city of Rome, in Israel all the public money lead to the pockets of Rabies...
In Japan, a party which is backed by a big buddhist sect always forms the ruling coalition, but all in all religion is not so influential.

Buddhism isn't even a religion, there are no laws.

excise the foreign cancer religion and restore the emperor
No influence at all.

>belief systems have to be authoritarian and repressive otherwise they don't count
Completely secular and pretty much no actively practicing Christians, though the invading mudslime scum take their barbaric moongod pretty seriously.

They don't perpetuate themselves without repression. Why did you think humans are so violent, dummy?
>>73537223
Not at all. To do anything religious in public here comes off as a bit weird. To illustrate, back at the elementary, we were riding a pretty packed train on a field trip, talking, when suddenly one of the other kids pointed at some guy, and quietly said "Hey, look, that dude's reading a Bible." Another replied with something like "Heh, better that if he was reading a Quran." Point is, it's just not done.

Didn't Netanyahu form a coalition with a party that wanted to prevent students in rabbinical/torah studies from being conscripted?

What are the main ideas of japanese buddhism?
Not as influential as fedoras and foreigners think.
Except in Utah.

Religion is unfortunately a very large factor in burger politics. You can't get elected without at least pretending to be some kind of Christian.

t. Fedora.

>religion
say what again?
Religion is commonly practised here IE lots of church goers depending on area, but not at all a factor.
If you try to introduce or repress religion in politics you're good as fucked though because most see it as not a political thing.

So Israel is like Croatia but Jewish... here is almost the same, but with those fucking priests stuffing their pockets and influencing politics, sometimes they even ignore Vatican...
