Yeah, it's called polysynthetic. Lot's of languages are, like German, Finnish and Greenlandic. High morpheme-to-word ratio. Other cultures manage to name things reasonably, throughout history, it's actually very common. So why not?

Also, almost all "abo names" in Australia are corrupted derivatives for words and place names. Just like kangaroo is, so you don't have to have them so long anyway.
