For example, Manaus is the largest Brazilian city in the Amazon, and it has a population of 1.8 million people, and that's just one of the cities.
As a Brazilian who studies Brazil in depth, I can guarantee you that anyone who says all of the Amazon should be a giant nature reserve is either a troll or very naive.
