I don't think climate has to do with suicides, I think it's loneliness.

Here in Uruguay we have one of the highest suicide rates but pretty much 90% of them come from rural zones with small population where there's nothing to do, only 1% of the country is populated the rest if just empty grassland and rivers.

Our climate is not the most cheerful around since it can be cloudy for days but there's still a lot of sun and all that
