It's impossible of course to learn from books, but many foreigners and refugees speak fluent Finnish after year or two (with bad accent tho).

We have about 15 cases or so, they just replace your "to, in, on, from" etc. But everyone will understand you even tho you don't use them.

Example:

>minä mennä Yhdysvallat ensi kesä (no cases)
