Genetics probably. When I was in 8th grade in elementary school, they measured our weight and height at the start of the year, and the end of it. I was constantly ravenous and hungry. I remember my usual afternoon consisted nothing but reading scifi and fantasy books and eating like half a bread, plus delicious salamis, chocolate milk, and whatever I could find at home raiding the fridge. My bones were aching a lot too, especially my pelvis and thighs.
I grew exactly 10cm and gained 10kg, but I'm no taller than 178cm at my final form :( Kinda wish I drank more milk cause apparently that's what gives Dutch people their height.

Feels bad, like I'm genetic trash. I blame my mother, she's a womanlet. Don't know my father, he was probably a midget too.

I didn't noticed much difference in Amsterdam but then again it's full of foreigners
