Who speaks English already noticed that almost more than half of English words have similarities with Spanish, Portuguese or Italian? And that makes it very easy when you read or hear something in those languages.
Example: (Hospital=Hospital, School=Escola, Abuse=Abuso, Car=Carro, Emotion=Emoção, Face=Face, Corpse=Corpo, Anxiety=Ansiedade, Depression=Depressão, etc)
