If Britain joins the Schengen zone (which they won't because they don't want more Bulgarians and Romanians), the Gibraltar question is solved. I wouldn't dream of thinking such a thing. It's obvious to me that with the EU being the way the EU is (ie. Complicated as fuck), the deal that is reached between the EU and the UK will be unique, complicated, and probably a serious legal mess for both parties. All I'm hoping is that everyone is done by right by everyone, but that's probably optimistic.
