What happened to that wonderful American Renaissance? The Great depression came and went, but that distinct American pride never returned. Neoclassicism, a considerate beaux-arts touch, City Beautiful, Civic Virtue. Even places like downtown Manhattan were beautiful and friendly communities full of culture. Is there a chance that American style and spirit can ever return, or are we stuck in a depressing, bitter, asocial, cynical, and dull country? If that style and attitude is unsustainable in modern day America, why is this so and how can it be fixed?

Ask yourself why we're stuck here? Who doesn't want you to feel pride, and why don't they leave if they hate the US so much? We've got gremlins toiling away at the fabric of this country and they wont stop until there's nothing left.
