America
Korean War
Single handedly saved billions of people from a future of violations of human rights and starvation, while also showing the world's newest threat that they weren't all powerful
you divided a nation because muh communism
nothing heroic about it

There aren't a billion gooks in the early 50s.
Also, it was a stalemate and all of our cunts got pushed down south far from Seoul before recapturing it again.

I'm counting all future South Koreans.

Korea is better divided than entirely communist/socialist. If you look at videos of North Korean refugees, they get frightened and confused by escalators and buses.
>>72950207
You sided with an authoritarian regime that was not much better than the north until the 1980's.
Also, you've massacred civilians at least once:

The war ultimately turned out for the long-term benefit of South Koreans, but it was hardly "heroic".

>Once
Pretty good for a military superpower, desu
>Wasn't much better than the North
Debatable and subjective.
Also us saving them allowed them to develop to be superior later on, anyhow, which they wouldn't have been able to do with total communist rule.
Why doesn't Canada, or Hungary or the Philippines list their heroic wars?

You supported a leader who killed about a couple hundred thousand people, and that the Soviets were able to gain a foothold in the first place was because of the Potsdam conference, whereby you decided to hedge your bets and get the Soviet Union to declare war against Japan, in case nukes didn't get them to surrender.
>Why doesn't Canada, or Hungary or the Philippines list their heroic wars?
Because so far as I'm concerned, anyone who looks for "heroism" in war can go hang. Stop trying to look for "heroic" wars; it would have saved a lot of people a lot of trouble in the long run.
>americans think they were the only ones in korea
wow why am I not surprised?
Russia
cant decide between 1812 when we singlehandly defeated european coalition or 1855 when britshits and french helped ottomans, besieged sevastopol and bombed it 24/7
>>72951281
because im not staining ppl like Hunyadi, Kossuth and others by posting telling their story in an american thread
>>72952678
>we singlehandly defeated european coalition
Again.
