Some Australians have to drive 12~ hours just to visit their closest town, their children are educated by radio lessons and they have their shopping delivered by plane, it can always be more extreme.

in my hometown you need to drive for like 4 hours to reach another argentine city, but the nearest chilean city is only like 2 hours away
actually these two cities were really friendly to each other in the 90s and 00s, dunno why it went downhill

Singer-songwriter stuff is pretty common amongst Anglos, we developed our own style of country music, but it's increasingly americanised to the point where they'll even sing in an American accent.
Lee Kernighan probably represents a good balance of Australian country and American country. Some of the more American stuff is god-awful cat scratch racket, but they end up getting rich off the American market, so I guess it's worth it for them.

there are places in northern canada that are only reachable by long plane rides lol nevermind driving
My family (muh heritage) lives in Trieste and when I visit I can go 1-2 hours in any direction and be transported to a different world. Also the buses only cost like 15 euro to Salzburg, 7 euro to Ljubljiana, 20 to Milano, 30 to Napoli. 20 to Munich.
