Mobile homes can be fine. I lived in one for a while, and it had air conditioning, plumbing, a kitchen, high-speed internet, and a small garden outside. There are mobile-home parks in London in places like Romford that are actually rather expensive.

Yeah rural poverty in the south is still a pretty big problem for both blacks and whites. Louisiana is the absolute worst state for this.

Medium sized to large Southern cities have been doing great for decades now, plenty of jawbs and the housing stock is roomy and modern for the most part.

I always drive by places like in your pic on the way to some nature/state park in a rural area, it's very sad, especially when you see little kids living there.

While traiers are usually known as having only white people living in them, many blacks in the rural South live in shitty trailers.

Some mobile homes are fine though, a modern, well kept double wide with a nice deck out back is essentially a cute, smaller house. They can be like "tiny houses", only they're much bigger, more practice, and aren't trendy at all.

Also, not having your mobile home in a trailer park is a biggie. Trailer parks are filled with the trashiest, drug addicted criminals you've ever seen. A mobile home out on a big, pretty piece of land can be quite chill, i've been to a few like these.
