Because Switzerland actually has an identity that transcends linguistic borders or being mere copies of the cultures of their bordering countries. For example, across all four linguistic zones the Swiss have overwhelmingly been pro-French throughout their history despite being majority German (sort of) speaking. Compare Belgium, a country where neither half can understand the other half, neither half bothers to communicate with the other half, the largest political party in the country is a fucking separatist party, the country eroded from a unitary state to a federation that's a borderline confederation (Switzerland went the other way around: from confederation to a federation, and now the federal government is so strong it's a borderline unitary state) and even though the country hasn't even fallen apart yet there are ALREADY fucking border conflicts (the biggest being who gets Brussels, a Francophone city surrounded by French speaking municipalities that are technically part of Flanders).

This is why Belgium is a fucking joke of a country, while Switzerland is a country that happens to have four official languages.

The conflict between the Flemish and the Walloons is one thing. But I can say with a lot of confidence that the French speaking Belgians bear a lot of responsibility for the islam-problem of Belgium. They just don't want to learn, just look at pic related: the only right wing party is PP

You know that in the earliest stages of mass migration, it was actually the left wing who opposed it (except if the PS actively brought in French speaking migrants for the sake of frenchifying Brussels, something you still need to provide a citation for). It makes perfect sense: more low educated workers means lower wages for that sector. The right was fine with it as they represented the interests of the free market and business owners, the left only later shifted to a pro-migration attitude because third world migrants are loyal left voters (for obvious reasons).

It is true that the migrants from the sixties were brought in by liberal free market globalists, but I would not consider them right wing. The waves of migration that came after the sixties were not invited here by corporate politicians, but were attracted by our generous welfare system. The socialists jumped on the migration ship once they noticed that migrants became dependent on the government (so they would vote socialist).

The Vlaamse Militanten Orde and Vlaams Blok started to take positions against the migrants in the 1970s, when it became obvious they would not go back (a thing that was implied initially because they came to us as 'guestworkers'). Vlaams Blok won every fucking election between 1977 and 2006. They became the 2nd party of Flanders and represented 1/4 of the voters. I think this is enough proof to state that the Flemish showed resistence, certainly if the Walloons on the other hand kept electing PS politicians. VB never governed because they were put in a cordon sanitaire by all the other political parties. Vlaams Blok was convicted for racism in 2004, (by a French speaking freemason judge from the Hof van Beroep in Gent) and they started to crash. Today N-VA are the biggest, only because they also rallied for less immigration and law&order. I NEVER see that political discourse in Wallonia, on the contrary. Parties like N-VA are constantly demonized and put away as racist by the francophone media. If you read Wallonian newspapers and follow Wallonian politics you will know what I'm talking about. Nationalism is absolutely obsolete in Wallonia. Doesn't exist there; all the parties are globalist-minded

The conspiracy theory in this one is the connection between Dutroux and Michel Nihoul. Dutroux is some lower class fuck-up from Chareroi but had good connections with Michel Nihoul, an upper class business man from Brussels. The fact that Dutroux - as a fuck up - owned several houses and knew that guy led people to believe that he was just the "delivery man" of children to the elite.

Then there's also the conspiracy that because the elite was involved - the justice department didn't investigate stuff thoroughly. A magistrate was put off the case because he was too severe, so they replaced him with somebody who followed the orders from above (as goes the theory)
