Do american kids know fairytales take place in europe or do they thinks it's in some kind of ancient america?

Pretty sure most American children don't know any fairytales, only modern Disney shit.
At least they have given us mountains.
Should we tell OP that fairy tales aren't real?

Most traditional fairy tales are set in a place with castles and stuff, so we think it is a fantasy land. Only later do we realize that fantasy land is actually just Germany.

It's funny because Walt Disney was a Germaboo who wanted to make the Grimm Brothers fairy tales and all the German folklore and turn them into animated features. Even Cinderella's castle/the castle at Walt Dusney World is based on Neuchwanstein or whatever it's called. He also hated Jews. Old school Disney is about the polar opposite of modern Disney. Poor Walt must be rolling in his grave.

Well, my father told me this tale called "1001 nights", and told me it was located in France.
