Why is it called White Russia in nearly all languages when translated?

it is russia but without non whites.

It's because of Russians people make fun of Slavs and joke about Slavs being slaves.

It's because Slav tribes who lived there converted to Christianity among the first so they're "white" for some reason. Or so I heard sometime somewhere.

It's because Belaruse is the only white slav country.

Should be West land of the Rus if translated to its original meaning i suppose
