Samurai are overrated nobodies who never bothered to battle foreign nations, but just bickered amongst themselves in petty small fights

And when they met with Western military for the first time, they were so scared of a couple ships that changed their entire governmental structure and adopted european legal systems and tried to mimic the west's success, just in hopes that they wouldn't be yet another british/dutch/portuguese economy

Samurais were shit either way. Have you ever seen actual samurai armor in a museum? The medieval Japs were fucking tiny. It's almost comical. Also, the only reason they beat the Mongols was because of typhoons and the fact that Mongols don't know a single thing about boats and swimming considering that they're a steppe people. The only times the Japanese had any success in warfare were when they had a military tech advantage.

They only had success initially because gooks didn't even have a standing army at the time due to centuries of peace. Then the Japs clashed with the Chinese and got their shit pushed in and retreated all the way south and sued for peace. Thing is that they defeated them.
Even when they had no single advantage other than numbers, if at all (Otumba was the first time they faced cavalry, which, as pic related shows, can be absolutely devastating). The sword alone was an abysmal advantage, it can kill just by thrusting and not only stop any blow from a macuahuitl but break the weapon.

Among which were veterans of those wars against the Ottomans and the French, along many other experienced men from Italy and the Mediterrenean. Those same men admitted that they wouldn't have survived had the Aztecs not been trying to capture them.

They literally had Texcocan allies, who were literally located next to Tenochtitlan and holded 2/5 of the power of the Aztec Empire, .

Which dissapeared as soon the water sources of Tenochtiltan were destroyed since when their cities were built no one expected people would show up with cannons.

The Aztecs and the Spanish literally fought two times. Once in Otumba, when they faced the Spanish and their cavalry for the first time nad then in Tenochtitlan. In Tenochtitlan, the numbers were quite even, until a second smallpox outbreak appeared.
Call it excuses if you please, but their numbers don't make up for all the advantages the Spanish had.

You need to give credit to the charisma and persuasive abilities of the conquistadors. Gaining those allies is an impressive feat. Fighting is not the only thing that commanders must do, they must inspire and lead. Shame that the Aztecs didn't have that kind of leadership. Cry some more.
