I hate this country so much.
And you know exactly where 95% of these people came from.
I still haven't met a reserving splitter when looking for a parking spot (seen them on random drive-bys) and I'm not sure what I would do in such a situation. You can get stabbed for much less here, let alone return an hour later and find someone ran his keys over your car.

Never once seen this.

If they did they'd get killed because A. the street isn't for pedestrians outside of designated paths and B. if you want to get pissed off and fuck with my car, congrats, now I'm going to shoot you and get away with it because my vehicle is an extension of my home under castle doctrine in my state and I'm being attacked.

ex-USSR? here making scandals in queues is nation sport for older people, standing on parking places is pretty common too. In commieblock yards people place barriers with chains and reserve place for parking without any legal reason. But when my friend who is disabled and use wheelchair placed these barriers officially so nobody could park in front of entrance to his staircase people became jealous ant cut tires on his mobility van.
