Isn't it interesting that japan, a country with a culture so strongly honour based, has no concept of mercy?
This is because the Japanese concept of honour is different to the western concept of honour. A Jap has no mercy and as such expects none from his opponent. a Jap would rather die and preserve his honour than accept mercy from his opponent. This cultural mindset is what lead the Japanese to commit many atrocities such as Nanking and Pearl Harbour.
It is also interesting that the Japanese have no concept of a christian god to instil them with western values such as mercy. However, one can not always show mercy, especially if it would endanger your way of living and those you hold dear. Europe is on the verge of cultural failure also unless it can learn when to exercise prejudice. What the bible teaches is only meant for an ideal world. We live in a broken society.
It is their total cultural lack of mercy and western (true) honour that the Japanese devolved into a society of grass-feeder men who have no desire to marry and reproduce but instead work day to day to secure a living and spend their disposable income on frivolous hedonism. Japan doesn't have an army. We won't let them. The western world has Japan in a choke hold. Japan is an example of utter cultural failure.
