I'm 24 and I didn't attend to university either. I really wanna go there someday, but I had to get to know myself first, which took a chunk out of my late teens and early twenties.

Anyway, I am now studying IT on an easy level, while having joined the home guard/reserves. It feels like a weird combination, but I really like the chemistry between having a non-physically demanding job and a physically demanding hobby.

There were Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan for years and they weren't there for "peace keeping". The idea of the Canadian military as a peace keeping force came out of the days when Canadians were involved with the UN and their escapades in African and Ex-Yugoslavian countries. And all it did was leave a lot off soldiers feeling hurt/failures because they were restricted from doing their jobs. Romeo Dallaires involvement in Rwanda and the UN is probably the most famous and the "Somalia Affair" which greatly hurt the CF and got our airborne unit disbanded. It's a misguided meme that we do only peacekeeping. So uh yeah join if you want to it's not like it will hurt if you really want to be involved and theirs a lot of trades (supply, armored, air, infantry) to look into.

If trudeau tries pulling that "well do it next term" shit then I wont vote for him. He has 4-5 years to get it done and his failure to do so will be entirely because he decided not to do it. There's also a lot of money involved in the marijuana industry now so he'll have an incredibly, almost impossibly, hard time trying to justify back tracking on that. The electoral reform promise is really only something people under 30 care about; and since most voters are my parents age (they couldn't care less about electoral reform) he knows perfectly well he can get away with it. The marijuana issue crosses age boundaries and that's something people my age and, quite literally in this case, something my parents age care about. This isn't to suggest dude weed is the most important issue either, far from it, but simply that it's one of the simplest for liberals to actually do if they were ever serious about it in the first place.

Buy yourself a study guide, I got one from chapters and it served me well. Practice makes perfect.
