Why don't Malaysia just annex Brunei and Singapore to have smooth borders and get their dosh?

Its an abstract kind of dosh.
They dont have a magic moneytree but an effective form of governance and a productive population, annexing them would nullifie this as the former would be unmade and the latter would flee or be uncooperative.

Actually, that island was supposed to be a CHINK containment facility. All Malaysian chinks supposed to be deported to Singapore and we continue the canal project at the north back then. We're too kind to their plea for not continuing that project and giving them cheap water back then as well.
