If you had to change your language's writing system, which one would you adopt?
Sanskrit.

Is that fucking inuktitut as the penultimate one?
what are the two last ones?
>>71579525

Cree syllabics (although Inuktitut is based on it).
The last one is cuneiform.

Is it easy to learn?
Mongolian

I have no idea. I've never tried. However, it's quite interesting in that the vowel for each syllable depends on which direction it's oriented.
What does /int/ think about non-latin writing systems.
>>71579101
Moon runes like the nips and chinese. Will make me feel special for knowing something that others don't.
I think my language would benefit from having it's own runes.
>>71579528
Sumerian
What is the 4th one?
I would go with Georgian, it's pretty aesthetic

what would spurdorunes look like Pekka?
>>71580486
Keeps normalfags out and feels like being in a sekrit club. In cases like Japan, the worst they are going to get are weebs who want to learn the language, most of them fail because "moon runes too hard!".
>>71580941
I don't really have any ideas, I think there's ancient findings of Finnish runes but they're not developed enough for a modern writing system, rather it was just something akin to Egyptian hieroglyphs. Might be wrong.
>>71580941
:DDDDDDD :D :---DD :-DDD :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

>>71580941
Made me think of /int/'s very own sekrit club language. Does one exist?

>>71580747
This. It reminds me of some Lord of the Rings Elvish shit. I'm convinced that's the only reason people learn it as a foreign language.
>>71579101
runic definitely
fuck it would be so cool to have our own writing system like slavs do
How come so much of Europe uses Latin? Why was it that only the Greeks and the Cyka Bylats that have their own scripts?
>>71580149
>the vowel for each syllable depends on which direction it's oriented.
that's actually pretty fucking smart
>>71580486
Hanzi and Kanji are kinda aesthetic but probably cancerous for daily life, even while having PCs and mobile dictionarys and stuff.
Dont really know about all the variations between the Devangaris and Abugidas 2bh, can people with different scripts understand eachother in that region?
>>71581286
What was the Roman Empire?
>>71580486
More countries should have the balls to introduce at least some traces of their native script.
Nothing. Hebrew is perfect.
The Irish had the worst runes.
Emoji based language.
Worked for ancient Egypt.

>>71579101
Actually, based on IQ test - the exact opposite (top to bottom) is the correct answer.

That would be awesome
I want to learn old Anglo
But there are nearly zero sources to learn it.
>>71579101
I wouldn't adopt a completely different writing system, but I would bring back all of the letters that existed in Old English.

This one seems pretty beautiful.

From now on English will be written exclusively with the hiragana alphabet.
Good luck losers.
>>71592232
Except for the fact that most people are right handed and left to right with the right hand is a far more natural movement.
>>71579101
Cyrillic and Latin are the only good scripts. (Honorable mention to Greek)
