Anyone here learned (is learning) Finnish and did well? Especially anons who did/do it on their own without visiting Finland (at least at first) and/or a language course?
Ofc all anons are welcome tho. What is your advice and recommendations?
Thanks in advance.
Only way for you to become fluent in finnish is interact in real life with finns, even if you study it and learn something you still wont understand shit in real conversation because of retarded kirjakieli from 1550 you get taught but nobody uses

Oh I assume that formal/standard and colloquial speech differ, it's the same case here but that's more of a concern once you acquire at least some fluency in the standard language first.

You're not okay with me teach you the ancient language of the world?

I'd rather see how things go on my own first.

Why would anyone learn Fingolian in the first place?
I understand it if you want to learn a cool meme elf language but for real benefits it's useless.

Only plebs don't use kirjakieli in daily life. And those people are especially retarded if they speak in slang instead of dialect

YOU WILL BE SORRY FOR NOT UNDERSTANDING ANYTHING AND COME AND BEG FOR HELP.

Contain your autism Swedecuck. You're basically proving the King is right about Swedes.

KYSS MEG I REVA
It's a pain and pure imbossibility if you don't interact with actual finnish speaking people since everyone just speaks how they wan't to whilst on top of that maybe speaking some form of dialect.
You can become very fluent in the written version of it but yeah.

We don't have a Norway-tier problem with dialects. Absolutely not.

You're worse than him though since he shits up only cancerous threads while you shit up actual threads.

I am still learning Finnish. My expression is that, it is a language that is difficult at beginning but gets easier as you go further.
A random brazilian managed to learn to write it bretty good tho
maybe it just needs a dose of autism
