It has nothing to do with the Olympics. What happened is that the business responsible for the administration was accused of corruption. Maracanã is over 50 years old and not once this happened. Soon there will be another firm (probably alongside Flamengo and Fluminense) assuming the stadium and things will go normal as they should be.
