>when you try duolingo
>and it's actually complete shit
>and you literally cannot believe people like it

What language?
>>70764510
Irish probably, because muh heritage
>>70764239
Thank you. I knew you were somewhere
>>70764510
Apparently I'm "10% fluent" in German even though all the questions involve shit like "We are eating the apple." and using the same 10 words over and over again.
It just feels like any other shitty instant gratification program that rewards you for doing absolutely nothing.
>>70764661
They use those sentences to teach you about verbs you retard, "10% fluent" is a fucking meme.
>>70764661
It's just to create a goal for you to continue study and achieve 100%, retard
>>70764942
>"10% fluent" is a fucking meme.
Duolingo as a whole is a fucking meme.
>They use those sentences to teach you about verbs you retard
Then they should use more practical examples, or less monotonous sentences. Nobody FUCKING says shit like "We are eating the apple." followed by a thousand more sentences concerning different people eating different amounts of apples. Vocabulary is pretty much nonexistent.
>>70765223
But apple is a word you already know. Try memrise otherwise.
>>70764661
>"10% fluent"
A goal setter, welcome to the muh achievements generation.
>and using the same 10 words over and over again.
That's how memorization works, yes.
>>70765324
>muh memorization is somehow an excuse for having a horribly limited set of vocabulary
>>70765439
Then learn vocab on your own.
I tried learning Esperanto on there but it's just boring
I'll stick to English
90% of my time on duolingo was spent on the toilet
It's a great way to be productive on the toilet
>>70766932
>Then don't use Duolingo
Good. It sucks at everything it tries to accomplish.
>i dont like duolingo
>>70769938
What did he mean by this
