Today I worked a n 18 hour shift while slamming coffee and enjoyed the BBC via radio when it came on. I am now enjoying a glass of straight gin to counter the caffeine in the hope that I will be able to sleep within the next 2 hours as I need to wake up and have a similar day tomorrow.

Or today, whatever. Point is I need to be back at work in about 9 hours.

Well when your project lead gets hit by a drunk driver and is stuck in the hospital for the next month while the two interns on the project start fucking up EVERYTHING without supervision you get kind of trapped with a Friday deadline.

If I can survive the rest of the week as de facto project lead I'll be in for some form of raise/promotion. The paycheck will be fine as fuck also as I'm already working overtime hours and clocked 63 hours last week.
