Japan sucks in many ways.
The food lacks in varity and its honnestly not very good, even if you've eaten western sushi you need to get used to it when you get there, i mean all these horrible raw things they eat.

Many people work 50-60 hours a week. You dont want to try making a living there. Not as an office rat at least.

People are depressed and commit suecide.

Pornography everywhere, even in toy stores where children might go.

Pornography in ads on the damn street. (Just because its hurr censored noone feels its a problem)

No trash cans or park benches anywhere, cities are built too look clean and neat, not to be nice for people to live in.

In fact, japanese society feels like its partly stuck in the 1950's. Sweden used to be similar, using titles, having stay at home wives, having policemen patroling the streets, when my dad was young or even earlier, like before WWII.

Its not all bad (like the police actually having a sense of duty), but it certainly feels acient.

Also, one thing i really hate, and which japanese themselves must also hate is fucking street touts. Especially the nigerian ones (hey sir! You look sad! Wanna have fun??) lurking around in roppongi, but even girls in shibuya shouting "Sir, massagi!" fuck off, leave me the fuck alone. These people are like gypsies, and they probably target tourists especially hard.

Dont get me wrong, i like japan in many ways, but these are some of the negative aspects of it, atleast in the city of tokyo.

I just think its weird. I mean burgers might not think its so weird but stripclubs are quite uncommon in sweden. There are like a few in the bigger cities and they advertise themselves by driving around wans with photos of models on them because they are not allowed to put signs up on walls.
