Traditional tacos don't use ground beef or sour cream. Those two ingredients are part of tex-mex cuisine, because they were more common in American cuisine.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some shitty tex-mex taco bell tacos loaded with sour cream and in a doritos shell or some ridiculous shit, but they're not traditional by any stretch of the imagination.

Crema Mexicana is a type of sour creme used in Mexico but it's different from the type of sour cream you'd get in the states.
