LA resident here. Ask me anything. I can confirm that we have great beaches, always good weather, every kind of store you need, fast internet, and a shitload of restaurants. Ignore 4chan's complaining about Mexicans, most of them are perfectly fine people who just want to work (no I'm not a Chicano). Of course, that assumes you're not stupid enough to go into Compton. Other than that and the eternal water shortage, LA is great.
