writing neatly and quickly is a very rare skill. go and tell a doctor or head waiter that their writing should be neater. see how high that is on their list of priorities at work. no one is going to put extra time in to make writing look nice if it means they get less work done. it's fairly useless to be fair. i can write well, if i spend extra time. but why?

Writing in cursive is so much better and faster. I think they don't write in cursive because it looks weird to them.
