2. nope. they've tried for over a decade, but they are constantly postponed
We have voting cards
They are required for almost everything important, everyone must enrole and get the card at age 18

yes
you can use it to log onto stuff with card reader (like online bank, online health records, the tax portal)
you can use it to open bank accounts
some shops use it for bonus cards or memberships
you can travel with it (except the jewnited states which requires a biometric passport)

Not only 1, but 4. Every man over 18 has to own an ID card, a voting card, an army draft card and an IRS register card (most important).
>>70460917
no, some stores scan the barcode on it for the bonus programs etc.

Most people use their drivers license as ID but the plebians who take the bus can get a provincial ID used mainly for voting or buying liquor but it can be used for anything that requires id

in Estonia you can use your idcard instead of your driver's license
Yes since last month.
How does getting BTFO by roachistan feel like?
>>70460474
Why are they posponed?
>>70465045
not OP, but norwegian debit cards have pictures on them and work as ID, so no real reason to create another card since everyone older than 15 with a bank account already has valid picture ID
plus regular round of bureaucracy, privacy standards and whatever whatever

IRS?
I ronically you can't vote with your voting card, but you can with your ID card. I'm now sure for what the army draft is, mine is stored in the house somewhere.
Available since 2013
