More development=cheaper foods, as well as higher penetration of US culture such as McDonald's, Starbucks, HAES, "body-positivity" etc.

Marriages are arranged, so the men get fat because there is no need to look good through exercise. What is your wife going to do about it, say "No, you're too fat"?

Women get fat because they can't drive or leave the house unescorted. So no exercise there either. Plus when you're covered head to toe there's less incentive to look good except for your husband, and since he's probably also fat and won't let you leave the house... why bother?
>>
Mexico is pretty blubbery as well since the traditional diet has given way to processed foods.

It's almost impossible to stop people from eating like pigs. They should raise the health insurance premiums for each kilo they are above normal weight. That would hurt them a bit at least. Besides, why should the normal people pay for their tons of health problems? Damn I despise far people.

All the """symptoms""" of MSG are related to overeating. Double blind tests have shown that MSG headaches/discomfort etc are all from overeating, not MSG.

>a healthy lower class worker shouldn't have health care because lmao just stop being poor
>meanwhile a fat NEET leeching off his parents should get top notch care because he was born into money
Fats and smokers shouldn't get Healthcare. I hate communists but Healthcare and government pensions should be a human right; people shouldn't be working when they're 80 unless they want to, and having people wandering around with rotted off limbs and shit is 3rd world tier.
>>

Sin taxes are immoral. Why should the state benefit disproportionately from bad habits?
>>
>>70451994
I'm 186cm 70kg, do you also have joint problems?
>>
>>70451908
It really doesn't, not to the degree that Anglo countries do. It has maybe more than other places, in some respects, but it doesn't have the food/eating culture that the Anglo sphere does.

While you're here, redpill me on your country. What is there to do there?
>>
>>70452117
Not that poster but
>Why should the state benefit from bad habits?
It will give more money to pay for public services like roads and schools, while discouraging people from leading unhealthy lives.

Being fat and unhealthy should be tantamount to treason.
>>
>>70452134
no.
My bony ass prevents me from sitting for more than 5 minutes in the same position if the chair isn't mega comfy, that's the only problem I've ever faced so far.
>>
>>70452000
>Czechs
Nice trips
>>
>>70452178
>It will give more money to pay for public services like roads and schools
Why should that be coming from something wholly unrelated? If you want to fund detox centers with alcohol tax money, sure, but otherwise it just seems punitive.
>while discouraging people from leading unhealthy lives
>nanny state = good
Like I said, of course that's your perspective, leaf.

>inb4 degenerate
I don't smoke, and I only drink 2 beers or glasses of wine in a single sitting. I just think sin taxes are wrong.
>>
>>70452352
I don't even necessarily agree with sin taxes. Enjoying drinks or drugs in moderation, or even tike to time in excess doesn't render you a useless human being. The long term health of the individual is much more important; people being obese, eating only garbage and never exercising is more damaging to the state, to others, and to support systems than casual drinking/sin.

I don't even really believe in fat tax that much either. I think that it would be more effective to have a nationally mandated education on healthy eating (not the classic food pyramid/fats are evil rhetoric, but a diet that is 40/40/20 protein fats carbs, with a strong emphasis on green vegetables, as well as a focus on individual/smaller portioning and abandoning the 2000cal a day diet), and an hour of vigorous exercise a day minimum from K-12.
>>
>>70452181
Oh well, might just be me with shitty bones
>>
>>70442903

But exercise is a meme if you don't change your diet.

A lard ass consumes 3-4,000 calories a day. There's no way even a 1 hour bike ride every day will do anything do that, assuming you could get them on the bike.

These people need to understand that they can't consume more than 2000/2500 calories a day, for women and men, respectively.

It's as simple as just reading the nutritional information on whatever you buy, yet somehow they can't manage that. Really, fatties should just be gassed.
>>
>>70442377
>How do we fix
You get weighted every month, if the weigt goes over a certain treshold you get kicked from work into the military run fatsocamp for the amount of time they need to make you slim.
>>
>>70453044
I consume around 3k/day. I'm a little flabby (that didn't happen until I quit smoking 3 years ago), but I'm not fat. As a fast metabolism person, I can understand how metabolism can be a factor.
That said, I'm a spaz. I don't work out, but I'm just generally hyper.
>>
>>70453844

Yeah, but you're not one of those people who has to drink a gallon of coke every day + sugary treats.

It's ridiculous. These people don't know what they're putting in their bodies. If they just fucking added up the calories, they'd see that they exceed their calorie budget by at least 50% every day.

By enforcing Calories in=Calories out for everyone by disincentivizing foods that are high in calories but produce little sense of fullness (i.e. junk food full of shit like HFCS and trans fats) while incentivizing increased calorie expenditure through exercise
