I was thinking maybe starting out with st petersburg which is like 4-5 hours ferry ride from here, and then if i survive there maybe go deper into the lands of mordor. I dunno. Just intersested in getting some perspective on things.

I think it would take me years to learn russian to a decent level. I studdied japanese before going to japan but ended up basically asking for "english menu" everywhere, and then pointing.

It was kinda funny because i talked swedish with some shop keepers and they just ignored it and continued being polite. One seven eleven girl actually bowed for me, that was kinda cute to be honnest.

I got detained in the metro, but in general I had no issues with the cops while I lived there.

I actually want to visit Russia too, but holy fuck the language is difficult. Like you guys have about five different "y" sounds.

Also typing Russian alphabet is a pain because I only have latin keyboard.
