Well, if you had the drive to peruse a higher education you would have till now. Even if you go to a university, my guess is you will not push yourself too hard, so neither your specialty or personal proficiency will be very employable. So around the time you are 30, you'd get a dead end job with no real advancement possible, barley scrapping to make ends meat.

My personal story is based on the fact I graduated law, I've hated it and fell in to a none-fulfilling job, that I have no motivation to get better at, nor it is required of me. Living in a bumfuck nowhere, my pay is laughably low and I am fine with it because my will is already drained away.

My friends emigrated abroad and make far more money doing unskilled labor, than me with my degree.

And I've invested too much effort and pride getting where I am do turn my back on my diploma now.

So, I'm stuck here till I die.
