That applies for people who live on the country side and I would agree. However in the city dryers are common and often shares among people.

I use a dryer because I am to laze to flat my stuff. So I only have to flat shirts and sometimes pants.

Why America is so shoe-centered? They wear shoes at home, in shower, have sex in shoes, microwave them, put in freezer. It's kind of obsession.
