Economy and politics to some extent. Culture and history I'd say no, we have different niches for culture so to speak (and they could not compete with us if they wanted to) and historically we are too far apart to have given a fuck about each other.

It is a friendly rivalry in any case, there[s rarely any serious contentious issue in anything but the security council which is more of a joint cause with Argentina and Colombia.
