>no future besides wageslaving in a dead end factory for the rest of my life
>income barely allows me to survive
>overly agressive culture, if you are sensible or different you will be openly ostracised\shunned
>women are extremely vapid, agressive, cold and uncaring

>The few cultured people live in niches and are usually absolutely arrogant (the ones who aren't arrogant are old)
>Nothing ever happens, towns are too small, ugly and there's nothing to do because there are no clubs, cultural circuits, etc

Yeah, that's true.
Without realising I entered in a spiral of loss and when i came back to my senses it was too late already.

Life has lost it's meaning
I used to draw comics in the past and i still draw but to a way lesser extent because i'm always too tired from work.

However, my stories have become so bitter and depressing that sometimes i tear up realising on how horrible things have become...

Is it really that bad? Went to Coimbra, Porto and Lisbon and had an incredible time. Really comfy places. Porto and Lisbon have a great nightlife. There was so much going on.

I've met a Portuguese guy working as a nurse (lel) in Germoney. He's saving money in order to buy a flat. Will take him several years. However he will have an acceptable standard of living in Portugal considering he won't have to pay a rent. Maybe it works for you as well. We really appreciate your people.

Please tell me more about everyday life in Portugal.

Portuguese women and men are nice to look at btw.

>Please tell me more about everyday life in Portugal.

Ok, but i'm a looser so it's not that exciting:

>Wake up at 7:30
>Go to work at 8:30
>Work
>Have lunch pause at 12:30
>Return to work at 14
>Work till 6:30
>Leave and head towards the gym
>Go home
>Eat dinner
>Browse 4chan or draw\write some stories till 00:30
>Go to sleep

at weekends I mostly stay at home or go to the park and read a book, trying not to think of how meaningless my life is.
on sundays i visit my cousins sometimes wich is my only moment of social interaction in the whole week.

When the weather is good, mostly in late spring and summer i like to open the windows and play some piano...

I want to keep on living. Sometimes i see some really beautiful things that make me realise the world isn't so horrible

Some weeks ago i was leaving work and there was this 2 huge rainbows in the fields while the rays of sunlight pierced the clouds. It was so beatiful that i could just drop on my knees and start crying.

Also, when i'm reading in the park and see the young couples holding hands and being so close together brings me a feeling of peace.

The world can be a good place but it's just that my life is too sad and i'm usually surrounded by the worst and the void

Trust me on this one brother, this is irrelevant. I live in a big city with always a lot going on and i just stay home on the computer all the time.

Clubs, cultural circuits, all this stuff is shit. Playing vidya, watching anime, reading and to studying is much more fun.

Dein Deutsch ist sehr gut. Warum warst du auf einer deutschen Schule?

Your country is beautiful. I'd love to live there. Germany is nice too but it has no soul anymore. The only thing im proud of is our classical literature and our incomparable amount of theatres and opera houses. German people really appreciate art. However most towns (especially bigger ones) are ugly as hell. Portuguese towns are comfy. People really know how to enjoy life there

Dude, you own a EU passport and can speak good English, what are you waiting for to live in a different country and see the world?
You're not in your 40's, if you're on a phase of your life in which you can't find any deeper meaning to it, then it means that you should start seeking it out there instead of staying at home most of the time

Try to save around 5/10k euro and go to germany or ireland, search for a basic job just for paying for your daily expenses and experience something new

Most people think doing this is just a waste of time, but when you're done with it you'll probably know who you actually are, what's the purpose of your existence, and what you really wanna do with your life

You need some action, something you've never experienced before, and doing that will put you in a great amount of situations like that on a daily basis

Good luck pal

Actually, i have been thinking of emigrating but all the jobs available for me out there are even worse than the one i already have here.
At least i usually have free weekends and they are essential for my well being. Without weekends i would crumble apart and become absolutely crushed

Going to different countries is only nice when you have a decent job opportunity, college exchange\erasmus and student voluntary work.
Besides that, it's nothing like you imagine

Anyone should live is life as he wants unless it's based on hurting others. I have to admit that i despise stoner culture tough... Nothing good can come out of it... only art and the only guy who was able to create a masterpiece on that subject was Simmon Hanselmann

Why are you that isolated? Didn't you make friends in school or university?

Aren't Portuguese quite open? In Germany people often are aloof. There are closed circles of friends one never will enter. Fortunately I have 5 longterm friends I can always talk to.

What went wrong?

>reach the university at 7:50am - its in another city, and its hot and dry

>lunch break at 12:30
>back for more classes at 13:30(scientific methodology)
>leave 16:30 but sometimes sooner
>another fucking trip to go back to my city, and then i reach the at about 18:00 and something
>leave the gym at about 20:00, yes, i lift a lot and do cardio
>reach home at about 20:30, eat, shower, brush my teeth, clean my food pots and make my food for tomorrow
>its 23:00, shit, i cant stand up and i am sweating like if i was in a sauna, turn on the airconditioner/cooler/whatever
>sleep in less than 5 minutes
Then i wake up tired as hell thinking about the weekend. I only wish i had snow or a cold weather, or pussy, something too soothe my miserable life and restlessness(i am angry, i want more, something better, soon as i get my trainee position on pfizer/roche/novartis/merck/bayer/glaxosmithkline i will try to transfer it to yurop). You dont need to be sad, but angry, ruthless, pissed of; ready to "give back to society" the shit they gave to you
>>
>>69845359
Already in bed watching my daily simpsons episode...
Well, i'll answear:

Portuguese are indeed quite\somewhat open but it's really difficult to fit in in an already formed group.
I always had acquaintances but when it comes to actual friends it's complicated.
I used to hang around with some people, absolute stoners but fun... however, most of them didn't really liked me and i fucked up some stuff and now they shunned me and i was kicked out per say.

Since then i no longer have much people and as i said before it's mostly my cousins
>>
Hey guys how's Madeira? Going there soon, what to do other than hike around?
>>
>>69845647
To fit in a group often won't work. In university it really was easy just to talk to someone just sitting right next to you. In professional life one hardly wants to get to know new people though.. Everyone already has family and friends.

Nevertheless, I'm sure you will make it
