Istambul is one of the few big cities in Europe(partly) I never been to.
Is it nice?
>Turkey
>Is it nice?
hmmm I really do wonder
should be pretty cheap by now, though

I know, if I dodge the explosions and bullets it might be ok.
But what if in 2-3 years it's peaceful, is it a good place to visit, I mean just this city I don't care for the rest of the thanksgiving main dish.

Yes, Constantinople is quite nice.

kek good luck with that
>>69816998
it's fine, just be extra cautious also should be very cheap now due to turkish lira tanking

City itself isn't something special but it has so many historical places that must be visited I would strongly recommend you to visit it with a nice tour company so they will take care of everything and you won't deal with traffic and other things personally, however, STAY FUCKING AWAY FROM TURKEY FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY untill things get back to "normal"... if it ever happens that is.

Hope it goes back to normal soon than. I've been to quite some places but never seen Istambul so I'm curious.

I would certainly not feel safe there because of various reasons, just to name few: growing hate against foreigners, christians in particular, fueled by the turkish government, growing terrorism/radicalism and widely spread poverty, caused mostly by huge inequalities among Turks all across the country.
Note as well that criminality rate in Turkey has been constantly rising since 1990s.
I'd strongly recommend reading the following advice by the British ministry of foreign affairs before heading to Turkey:

Does the fact that I'm a /bigguy/ change anything?
I wanted to visit when the attacks stop.
>>69819318
Maybe, I can't tell.

amk alamancısı
>>69817095
Constantinople is very good place, but Istanbul sucks.
>>69819318
if you stick to touristic places you won't have any problems.

If I'd visit Turkey, I'd do it for the scenery. Looks like a promising country for it. Would like to visit the Black Sea region
