Zero to none. There has been never a terrorist attack in Eskişehir (well not in 20 years anyway so don't come to me with 50 year old ones). It is mainly populated with students, it is small as fuck. You won't find any islamists there too since it's filled with students. Also the university avenue is filled with bars and cafes. I study there, it's better than 0% of turkey. Also cheap rent and easy pussy.

Tram system is like a can of sardines during the rush hours. Hell most of the times I can't even get in it's so full. Trust me on this get a car. You can use your car to travel around other cities as well.

Train service is shit. Take a bus, inter city buses in turkey are god tier. I have taken inter country buses around europe (I'm not a rich man they are the cheapest way of travel) and I can confidently say that turkish buses are amazing especially compared to european ones. They give you free water, snacks and food also ice cream if its summer. Also it has huge seats. Also my advice to you is stock up on clothes while you're in turkey, in turkey clothes are extremely cheap since we're the ones producing it.
