Short answer is no.

The SPD/Green/Communist are trying to form their own government. So that's a no

The CDU tries to do it preferably alone or with the market liberals ( The liberals are probably the most. "American" party)

Maybe in an super unlikely scenario CDU and AfD team up but I don't believe in this.

European parties don't "win" in the way Republicans or Democrats do.

>your face when AfD loses
They currently have no seats. Taking a few seats sends a message, and pulls the major parties in their direction. If the CDU loses 5 or 10 seats to the AfD, they'll be forced to move closer to an anti-immigration stance to win those seats back. This is what happened with the Tories offering a Brexit referendum to take back voters from UKIP.

>your face when National Front loses
This would actually be a good thing, because they'd never get the votes for Le Pen to be President, and they'd otherwise take votes from Fillon, who represents the most right-wing faction of Les Républicains.

>your face when Wilders loses
I'm sure worldwide conservatism will be reeling when it fails to control of the Dutch parliament.

Well, merkel was the leader of her party for so long that she removed anybody who could oppose her.
And the other big party in Germany, SPD, was the junior member in government coalition last 4 years. They didn't really have a moment to shine in those past years, and it so happens that they have no charismatic leaders at the moment.

Leftists view the EU as a neoliberal, free market political entity, with imperialistic undertones. I think they agree with it in principle, i.e. a big, powerful supranational government, but disagree with the EU's free-trade agenda. Corbyn, for example, said he supported an EU, but not this EU.

Conservatives disagree with it more in principle, on nationalist and sovereignty grounds.

Well let's start with the elephant in the room, the fact some parties, particularly the National Front in France, want to change the constitution and hold a referendum 6 months afterwards in order to leave the EU. They also propose a new national currency in order to pay off the debt but don't have any details on how the fuck they will do that.

Also Brexit, fucking Brexit. That alone just shows how deluded and uncoordinated political populism is in action. Theresa May has no plan whatsoever and basically hides it behind catchy slogans. Literally no different from many of the other right wing nationalist parties across Europe.
>>
>>69500256

The market has shifted and Americans want their products to be made in the USA, we are willing to pay a premium for that product. The market has spoken.

like most countries will have an amendment in their constitution about free speech but it will always say "except hate speech of course!". And obviously hate speech will be decided by whoever is in power.

The irish constistition even says no speech that "undermines public order or morality or the authority of the state." Its not free speech at all

but yeah we all know the double standards and nobody will be arrested for saying things about Europeans, only nonwhites
>>
>>69500400
I agreed, the market has spoken. The fact is the US dollar value is so fucking high right now that we can import everything cheaply and consumer markets benefit as such...until inflation begins to take its toll.

>>
>>69500478
>how free is this market with all of Trump's proposed import tarrifs and protectionist threats?
Because the USA is ~free~ to make its own decisions about taxation and tarrifs.

Even the Founding Fathers allotted that power to the federal government.

>>69500474
You're are too pessimistic. Trump's not even President, he hasn't forced anyone to do anything.

No, because the United States Dollar's value is stupidly high right now and consumers are spending more than ever. I don't recall any recent policies the Democrats could freely implement lately that hindered the economy. Also tariffs are an impediment on the economy, that you cannot deny. Also trade wars fucks all sorts of shit up.

>>69500342
>What a load of bullshit.

>Right wingers are even more hypocritical considering they couldn't stop beating the freer the market the freer the people garbage for decades
I love free-trade. Most conservatives do. However, first, the price of the EU's free trade is your national sovereignty and the integrity of your borders. Second, the EU only provides for intra-European free trade. It actually prohibits you from signing free-trade agreements with nations outside the EU, without their assent. The "EU is the bastion of free-trade" argument is so woefully shortsighted. This relates again to the sovereignty issue.

>>69500478
>>69500342
Stop conflating Trumpism and conservatism. Trump is a closet leftist.

>>69500392
>want to change the constitution and hold a referendum 6 months afterwards in order to leave the EU.
When will this "you'll starve without the EU" argument go away? EU countries, especially us and the French, will be queuing up to sign trade agreements with the UK. Do you think that France, the entire middle of Europe, isn't going to have people begging to set up free trade if they left the EU?

>They also propose a new national currency
Isn't that the fault of the pro-European politicians who signed up to a currency they had limited control over in the first place? The GBP has been stronger than euro forever, but I guess they were stupid for maintaining their own currency, huh?

>Also Brexit, fucking Brexit.
Very academic tone. Why do you people get so flustered? Is it in lieu of coherent arguments?

>That alone just shows how deluded and uncoordinated political populism is in action.
It's only populism when you don't agree with it. Popular sovereignty makes all politics inherently populist.

"Free market" means each nation or country or state or whatever has the ~freedom~ to operate its economy how it chooses.

That means if you want 0 taxes or if you want a state run oil monopoly; thats your 'free' choice to do so.

Out of the parties that might get into parliament, the only ones that will not go into a coalition with the CDU are die Linke (the left) and the AfD. Those two are not going to go above 50%, so Merkel can just pick enough other parties (SPD, Grüne, FDP) and continue on her merry way.

Anyone can find an article that agrees with them.

Its clear Obamacare has been hindering the economy.

>"Free market" doesn't mean void of taxes or tariffs or revenue for your governmen
>That means if you want 0 taxes or if you want a state run oil monopoly; thats your 'free' choice to do so.

Lol that's not what the free market means at all. But hey I'm fine with a name change as long as the actual cancerous but correct definition is relegated to the dustbin of history.

Yes, it is.

But he never actually said anything racist... It's almost like people only listen to bullshit others say and don't do any research themselves...

>free market is a system in which the prices for goods and services are determined by the open market and consumers
Thats exactly what I just said.

If consumers want government regulation and control, that is also a 'free market'. It was choice of the people.

Get over it, Trump hasn't closed any markets; they are just as free as the previous 8 years-20 years.
>>
>>69501520
Its objectively not, because change was done through legislation as opposed to market forces.
>>
>>69501547
You're assuming that.

Just because a sector of economy was seized by government doesn't mean it ignores markets or prices or demand. Market forces could force something into the hands of the general public (government).

You're imposing that view yourself.
>>
>>69501632
I'm not imposing any view. This is what free market proposers such as Friedman set as the definition. I think it's a silly fantasy concept, but that's how that silly fantasy concept is defined.
>>

You clearly didn't get the full understanding if you think people making choices about the products they buy and who they buy them from isn't free market.

>Tariffs have saved US companies from utter annihilation in the past
[citation needed]
In any case, it's unworkable in the modern era. The USA and every other country for that matter simply lacks the resources to be fullly self-sufficient. Specialization and global trade started for this reason, not because some jewish cabal suddenly decided to fuck over the midwest and move all the steel production to China or whatever ridiculous conspiracy you believe. Your tariffs aren't going to accomplish anything but pissing off your trade partners, who will in turn put up tariffs of their own, and increasing expenses for companies that have already outsourced production, who will in turn pass those costs on to consumers or cut their losses and shut down entirely, eliminating the jobs they still had in the US.

Not when they set up legislative barriers or demand government intervention no matter how popular. Take it up with the freidman or ayn rand institute if it bothers you that much.

Why are anti-Trump fanatics so willfully ignorant?

1. That's not true
2. See Harley Davidson

They aren't the only people to write about free markets.

If you can't do anything it regergiate what others have pontificated about free markets then you can't be helped.

You've just been describing and defending market socialism this whole time but calling it free market capitalism. Look you'll eventually realize and when you do I hope you're not super asspained.
>>

>You've just been describing and defending market socialism
I haven't defending anything.

You're assuming that because of a post about Trump keeping jobs in the USA.

It's not 'free market' to be destroyed because 'ayn rand and Friedman (the only free market writers I've seen) say tariffs and taxes and borders have no place in free markets'.
