In Russia basically all europeans are considered white. (among normies, not counting our local shitlords) In real estate business there is special euphemism "Slav" which means "everyone not muslim and not from Caucasus mountains". So if you want to rent an apartment which says "Slavs only" in the ad you can surely call even if you are Japanese or Finn or whatever.

caucasian is because it is the accepted origin of whites even if some are not such as the sami

this is not to say caucasian is a member of the group white, it is for now just another name for white
