What is your tongue's equivalent of a universal passive non-response response such as そうですか?

something along the lines of "Ah, sim que bom." or "Pois, parece que sim/não".
>>
>>69418128
To be honest with you, family.
>>
>>69418128
"'zat right?"
>>
I suppose "really?" is its equivalent in English.
>>
>>69418235
Then why do you guys always translate it as "I see"?
>>
"Really makes me think"
>>
>>69418283

>>69418422
I mean whenever you talk to a Japanese and explain to them anything they will tell you "I see" and ignore what you said. I'm assuming this is a translation of a そうですか response.
>>
>>69418459
means no-yes, but it's sometimes a bit negative if you pronounce it wrongly
>>
>>69418506
i thought I see is legit english phrase where you just say something for sake of saying something
>>
>>69418792
It is but the Japanese use it especially. Something in their culture, they aren't allowed to tell you that that have no idea what you said.
>>
¿Es así?
¿en serio?
>>
what the fuck does そう mean seriously it's used in a million different situations
>>
>>69418128
I just use 'maybe'

>>
Hmm tendeu/tendi/entendi - understood.
Legal - cool.
Né - right.

>>
>>69418128
Uh huh.
>>
>>69422195
Ok? Hein?

I have no idea what the moonrunes in OP's post is, I'mma just assume it's something equivalent to our "meh", "eh", "okay".
>>
그렇군(요)

그렇구나

그래?

그런가

그렇네

Etc etc.

The verb 그렇다 is used similarly to different ways そうだ is changed in nip speak

I'm a Queenslander, we just answer "yeah" to every declarative comment until challenged, then it's "yeah that's right" or "yeah, nah"
Queenslanders are sometimes a challenge for Asian English speakers, isn't it.
>>
>>69422195
d'accord is like "gotcha"
wouldn't en effet be a good example also
