desu i don't really see why you'd get cheesed from those. they both just result from the words being homophones. also kind of pointless since they hardly obscure the meaning of the sentence.

Compound words written separately

When people end sentences starting with "I thought" or "I wonder" with question marks.
"I thought you were taller" IS NOT A FUCKING QUESTION!
Also !? instead of ?!

When words ending in "at" or "as" get written with an "o" at the end. Example "je sais pas (I don't know)" gets written as "je sais po". It drives me nuts. Also while we're at it "je sais pas" should actually be written "je ne sais pas" however literally no one actually says this or even writes this form unless its an official document.

Another thing which I hate is, and I think its only in Canada, when people use "par exemple (for example)" instead of "par contre (however)". It wouldnt make no sense in English but in French here I hear it a lot and when you think at it it doesnt make sense at all yet people say it constantly.

Everyone knows it but nobody says it is what I meant. Its frustrating, either we cut it or we use it.

I live in Philadelphia and grew up in Jersey and everyone says wooder instead of water and nobody bats an eye.
