My mom's friend from Switzerland is staying with us with their teenage son and daughter. Whats something American I can get them as a gift, so far my mother has only been giving them German food and treats that they are familiar with. I figured the most exotic thing I could give them would be a few bags of doritos and funyuns with an energy drink, but I don't want to come off as fat and gross. Any ideas?
doritos exist in europe btw

I'm in Miami so probably Mexican candy is my best bet for something they haven't experienced

Oh! You guys don't have chocolate + peanut butter?
Take them to a classic diner for breakfast. Get a big fat stack of fluffy pancakes and waffles. Maybe get some sawmill biscuits and gravy. The more 50's-esque it is the better!
Doritos and mountain dew soup

peanut butter isn't really a thing here. Make them a peanutbutterjelly Sandwich idk.

That made me a little sick.
Americans export literally everything to Europe idk if there's anything we dont have here. Try something Cuban or Mexican
