idk about about your criteria but I like the flag for Northern Territory, Australia + I was born there, so I am bias.

We should change our flag to something that has the southern cross in a box to the left like that and with something else on the rest of it. Our current flag looks too much like New Zealand's one and it makes it seem as though Britain has power over us or something.

well we've both done the whole process (several times I believe) and neither have changed it. I think it could happen when some old cunts die off. But then changing a flag is a big thing, you have to redo a lot of shit, it's probably a lot easier to just keep it. It also retains a continuation of history.

The flag is the Japanese military flag, not nation flag. Japan is still using the military flag now.
And Japanese nation flag has not changed since the 19th century.
