I once went to rural Hungary and we had a gypsy play the fiddle for us as we dined on steak and mash by candlelight at a properly set table with a properly moody 19th century portrait hanging on the wall, and all this for next to nothing in our terms. It's too bad that Slovenes ignore Hungary nowadays, there's a lot of good times to be had there.

Well, I would recommend to go to old part of the Tbilisi, first of all. Mtskheta is a "must to go" place, ancient capital of Georgia, now a small, comfy town, not so far from Tbilisi, full of historic monuments. It would be nice, if you could go to mountainous region of svaneti. It's a pretty unique place, with old svan towers, churches etc. Another mountainous place to visit is kazbegi, and surrounding regions, with it's astonishing nature.
