1916 in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta
1917 in Ontario and British Columbia
1918 in Nova Scotia
1919 in New Brunswick and the Yukon
1922 in Prince Edward Island
1925 in Newfoundland (though it didn't join Canada until 1949)
1940 in Quebec (this was when Quebecois were still conservative Catholics)
A lot of Aboriginals weren't allowed to (or were physically unable to because of isolation) vote until the 1960s.
1930-1934
Depends desu
Women could be mayors all the way back in the 1200s and in that respect they could "vote"

Same with us prior to 1920, Wyoming had allowed women to vote since 1869, and many states had already been allowing women suffrage before it became nationwide.

It was up to the provinces I guess. Newfoundland was a separate dominion. Status Indians (Aboriginals in the Indian Register) weren't allowed to vote until the 1960s.

Apparently it's true according to Wikipedia. Why is France so backwards?
This is a myth btw. Women could vote in over 20 states in 1919, the XIX Amendment was just there to guarantee it nationwide.
