Advantages of reflex sights:
1) Simpler, faster. You only need to line up one thing as opposed to two things with iron sights.
2) Wider field of view. Most iron sights cover up a large portion of the target.
3) Easier to shoot from unorthodox positions, since they have a larger eyebox and infinite eye relief.

Disadvantages of reflex sights:

1) Price. My aimpoint H1 cost me 450€.
2) Battery requirement. Some models drink more juice than others; my aimpoint can last 5 years on setting 8 while an EOtech dies in one month. Regardless, it's still a con.
3) Arguably more prone to fail. Also a pain in the ass to shoot through during rain, or in adverse conditions such as mud.
