Some lady at work back from a holiday in the USA today, she was very kind and brought us back some chocolate, I tried some of pic related and it unironically tasted of vomit, how do you eat this shit ameriburgers?
You fucking ungrateful bitch.
They are used to eating shit.
If it has sugar and lard in it, it's good for them no matter how awful it tastes.
They have no sense of quality.

Have you ever had almost 100% cacao? It's bitter as fuck. I thought milk chocolate was a European invention anyway.
>>68340467
>bitter
no it legitimately tasted of vomit
>>68340304
I've had some before as well and thought it tasted bizarrely of fish. Hated it.
>>68340467
>not drinking pure cacao beverage

I learnt about this in intermediate school. The Mayans and their spicy cacao drink
"Hershey's developed a process that allowed them to use less-than-fresh milk. It's a trade secret what the process is, but it resulted in butyric acid being created, which gave Hershey's its (unique at the time) flavour.
The popularity of Hershey's led to other manufacturers trying to copy the flavour. They didn't have access to the process that Hershey's used, but they did know that butyric acid was created as a result, which led to the flavour - and so they started adding it as an ingredient.
Butyric acid is the thing that makes parmesan cheese smell the way it does. Oh yes, and it's also responsible for the smell and taste of vomit."
I had the same experience when my brother came from New York.

It's gross, not that Hershey's is much better.
>>68340526
Is Abuelita similar? I tried it once and it was good

Nothing competes with Whittakers, we're just that elite.
I get this from Aldi since it's cheap and decent. I just wish they had some dark chocolate with higher cocoa content (70-90% is best, I think).
What are your favorite chocolates bros?
>>68340657
chur
>>68340720
Unironically chocolate called Bros.

Cadbury is best. I personally like this, milk chocolate on bottom and white chocolate on top.
Kinder is second but for the price and nostalgia, cadbury is best.
I don't, because I buy Cadbury instead.

>>68340720
Unironically this. Nothing i've tasted has rivaled the quality of this apart from some Alp chocolate i've tasted.
>>68340749
>>68340763
Looks tasty. Hershey had something similar
>>68340570
>The popularity of Hershey's led to other manufacturers trying to copy the flavour.

>>68340909

>>68340304
Yeah even I always had this doubt, many of your chocolates smell and taste weird, do you use some extra method or what?
>>68340570
So...Now I finally know why I hate any chocolate but dark chocolate
>>68340304
It is vomit.
>>68340570
>Butyric acid is found in milk, especially goat, sheep and buffalo milk, butter, parmesan cheese, and as a product of anaerobic fermentation (including in the colon and as body odor). It is also found in milk chocolate produced by the Hershey process, or added to imitate the flavour of Hershey's chocolate.[9] Butyric acid is present in, and is the main distinctive smell of, human vomit.[10]
mmmmm

Diary milk is the best. We have so many variations of it here but my favorite will always be the plain milk chocolate
Literally the only reason we're able to eat it is because we're raised on it from childhood. I spent a few years in the UK and when I came back to America I couldn't stand the taste of Hershey's anymore :(
