Showing dicks and pussies to kids without proper introduction and education is bad, because you don't want your child to try out putting his peepee into his female friend's vagoo. That would lead to troubles.
Showing violence to kids isn't that much of a problem, because kids are violent little shits from the get go, and teaching them that violence is bad is a large part of their upbringing.
You can hide sex from kids for quite some time, but you can't hide violence from them at all, because violence is everywhere.
